FINAL LOG + ENDGAME PLOTTING POST

THE FINAL COUNTDOWN

The game is now in its final stretch: the orbs are collected, and the team is close to undoing their regrets — but not before the orbs offer the one last trick up their sleeves.

· THE LOG + PLOTTING

The final station log will be divided into two parts: one part where no adverse orb effects are happening and the team can say goodbyes to each other, and the other part where those affected by two orbs in the Go’ama mission find themselves losing control of their minds.

The characters who have signed up for the effects are:
  • Aleksander Morozowa
  • Anakin Skywalker
  • Andromache
  • Clarke Griffin
  • Daisy Johnson
  • Natasha Romanoff
  • Newton Geiszler
  • Phoenix Wright
  • Ryunosuke Naruhodo
  • Sherlock Holmes
  • Yujin Mikotoba
  • Yzak Jule
  • Ziggy Berman

All of these characters will, after their minds have been affected by one of the two orbs, attempt two things: to hurt or kill other Orbers; and to access the North Wing in order to try and get to the other orbs that are contained there.

Everyone affected will start suffering from the effects 24 to 48 hours after arriving back on station. However, whether the characters are aware that this is happening is up to the players to decide, and you can choose from the following:

1   Your character retains their mind while their body moves without their control

2   Your character experiences blackouts, without remembering what they’ve done while blacked out

3   Your character loses their mind entirely to the control of the orb.

Additionally, in preparation for the final conclusion, we will ask players to submit the following:

1   Any actions affecting the station’s structures, other Orbers (major injuries / deaths, if there are any) or the orbs

2   Ideas for how to stop, contain and dispel the control of the orb for the affected characters

You can submit responses to both of these things HERE. The submissions open March 9 after the log has gone live, and submissions remain open until March 24. Please note that the Orbers will receive help from Viveca and Degar to deal with the corrupted teammates, and they can be asked for help, too.

For now, please use this post to plot for the final log! You can use this form to plot:

· endgame vote

Additionally, if you have something to add to the endgame vote, or if you want to change your previous vote, you can do so HERE. Everything submitted in the previous ENDGAME VOTING POST will be taken into account for the final conclusion.

Also, to clarify a few things regarding the previous vote: characters are able to remain behind on the station instead of returning to their worlds if they so choose. However, those who return will do so without their memories of their time on the station, and that cannot be changed, not even by Viveca and Degar. Characters would be aware of this prior to the unification of the orbs.

We hope that everyone is excited to see this game to its final conclusion!

Would a character who has multiple experiences with mind control and possession be able to resist somewhat? Would said character be able to eventually leave a tip-off that these mind control situation are happening? Perhaps through an earpiece?

Just asking... for a friend... ☝

... Also another random question: If a character is killed, is their regret still repaired for them? Do they stay permadead? Are they resurrected on board, or resurrected into their world without memories?

Asking for anyone mildly curious about whether to kill one of their characters or not.

So characters return without memories, but do they return home at a later point in time due to how long they spent on the station?

Also do controlled characters retain their technological knowledge or do the orbs take over and boost their knowledge? (Though it would be funny for a Victorian failing to cause great damage because of all the hi-tech around lol)

Going home without a fix Sherry gets a "happy" ending instead of a "everything is underwater because Cthulhu" ending!

And lol this orb controlled orber ain't going to be much of a threat. I love it

Hello mods! I was just wondering if Daisy will be able to use her powers in order to gain access to the north wing?

Thank you!

…what would happen if she tried to break the barrier? 👀

Also is there anything else off limits with her powers? Just so I know in advanced.

how would characters that are under the control of the orb act like around others? would they seem coherent and normal except they're evil or more like a robot being controlled by something else or something else entirely?

Aleks can't make the Cut on the station due to his powers being suppressed by Degar (and possibly magic). When he's taken over by the orb, is that restriction still on him?

Me again, what a shock, hello. 🥴

a.) If a character wants to, would they be able to stay aboard the Ximilia for a particular amount of time, and then go home later to their fixed regret? Say, they want to see a little more of the universe before they head home? Or would they have to go ASAP to guarantee the regret is fixed?

b.) Also, just want to make 100% sure, because I lose track of info with my goldfish brain, but will characters be aware that it will technically be a branching, new timeline they're making for themselves?
