Hello Orbers and welcome to our OOC intro + gamewide CR meme! We hope you're all excited for the upcoming sixth mission, the mission file and plotting post for which will be coming out just a couple of days. Other such important dates are noted in our updated calendar page.
In the meantime, we'd like to invite new players and characters to comment under this header to introduce themselves and their characters. Meanwhile, existing players are highly encouraged to make their own comments and mingle!

ETC: US Pacific, I mostly tag on weeknights after work. Generally quick to boomerang if you're on at the same time as me!
HOWEVER: I am fashionably late to this meme because this month is insanely busy for me at work, and I'm about to be gone from May 5-20. 100% down to backdate the upcoming mission stuff once I'm back though! While I'm away, Rosinante will autopilot-lurk around Law.

CHARACTER: Rosinante Donquixote (western order, look, apparently the rest of the cast is keeping the original order, so he'd be Donquixote Rosinante that way, I just was very used to games insisting on western order when I apped lmao)
CANON: One Piece
CANON POINT: Moments before death
INFO: 9' tall, clumsy as hell, chain-smoker and soldier/undercover agent with a real big heart, a strong sense of morality, and some serious trauma. He generally comes across as friendly and warm but not very open. Becoming actual friends with him is a long endeavor but once his trust is earned he's deeply loyal. Especially if your name is Law, because as several in this game have discovered, Law always comes first. They kinda have a history.
REGRET: Never looking harder into Vergo and getting him ousted from the Marines earlier. He suspects if he'd managed to pull that off, and if he can time it right, he can not only protect himself and Law, but also his entire report on Doflamingo and his connections, and all of the cascading effects from it should benefit a whole lot of people.
CR WISHLIST: I'm going to make everyone hate me with the "everything" answer, aren't they. But I love to see how CR evolves organically, and in a closed system like a space station, everyone has a chance to meet each other at some point, so I'd love to go for some of those interactions, especially if we haven't tagged yet! I'm here for both positive and negative CR and I find complex and antagonistic relationships super interesting to thread out, so don't be shy about that. Challenge him!
Rosinante also does offer instruction on combat skills and the basics of acting, investigating, and other espionage-adjacent skills, so feel free to hit up his inbox and we can assume they arranged to meet, or otherwise contact me on plurk if you want to talk details.
RECAP: Rosinante has been on the Ximilia since the start of the game, and has slowly worked to find his footing within it as he's had to pivot from a very long multi-year solo espionage mission to now having these very *very* short (for him) team-oriented missions, and that's taken some learning. He's made several friends but he's also shaken a few people's trust because he's proven willing to complete personal goals that could potentially harm others due to his dedication to fixing his regret.
Since the arrival of Trafalgar Law on the station, he's been smiling more and keeps to himself less. He's trying to get better at cooking, just to have a downtime hobby, and claims he's going to try and cut back a little on the smoking because Law told him the surgeon general warnings are actually real, but we'll see about that.
