[ BRASS DEVIL ] orb finale npc thread suggestions
Hello fellow orbers!
As you may know, Kovacs and Peter are desperately trying to complete an orb snatch. It could be… going… a bit better. And that is where YOU come in!
The way we see it, we have two clear needs:
The completion of the log needs to be done by October 16th, so we’ll need to get character and action suggestions in within the next few days. Group discussions OOCly will have until the end of October 9th at 11:59PM EST.
After that, we’ll be incorporating selected ideas brought up in both the IC net post and this OOC discussion towards furthering the NPC log. If the NPC actions that follow require further input from your character due to whatever contributions they may provide, we'll reply to your comments OOCly to inquire. As we are on a deadline, please make suggestions only if you believe you can be timely enough in communicating OOCly.

1. We need backup for Kovacs and help to neutralize Cheri. Those who are in HQ already would likely be able to reach the top floor the fastest. If you can use the comments below to help us brainstorm, please list what your character can do to help and we will use the thread for discussion to build a plan to provide in Kovacs’ next response.Due to the events being accidentally broadcast by Peter, an IC net post is available for characters to reach out to and communicate with both characters or with each other.
2. Peter can handle Olexa for awhile, hopefully, however any backup that is mobile enough to get to the side of the tower would be very welcome! This is a more difficult engagement to get to and keeping the entire building from capsizing is likely the most important. It is possible that Olexa might not be a threat after Cheri is stopped, though it is hard to say that with certainty. Again, if your character can make it to the side of the tower, please use the comments below to help facilitate discussion to provide in Peter’s next response.

i'm not sure he has anything that can help the building from falling, other than nondescript magics — he could probably use his shadow manipulation to help out in a sticky situation, like slapping duct tape on a wall to hold it together for a little while, but it wouldn't be permanent or all that useful in the long run, since he'd have to be physically there telling the shadows what to do
other than that, he's also a daemati ( or psychic ), and i would need mod permission but he might be able to help use that against olexa to attack her from a mental front as well as the physical. even if she has mental walls up, maybe just the attempt to claw them down could be a clutch distraction?? 👍

He's also on board with playing hot potato with the orb Sam's mun suggested.
Little problem, though, right now Quill has bruised ribs and a dislocated right shoulder because Daisy mistook him for the Darkling while she was hallucinating and attacked him. If anybody could help him put his shoulders back into the socket, that would be great. If not, he would do it himself using a wall, but it would hurt like a bitch. he knows how to fire left handed, so that's less of an issue.

As per a mod's note in Quill's app, the altitude is limited to 200 feet, so they can't leave atmosphere, but that's not an issue here.
