Hello and welcome to XIMILIA's first ever OOC intro & CR meme! We are thrilled you've all decided to go on this journey with us and can't wait to get things started. With this, the game is officially open, meaning you are free to make network or log posts to your heart's content. Note that the game's first intro log will be this June 8 (with our first mission/planet coming in July), so mark your calendars!

This is also a great time, if you haven't already, to familiarize yourself with the game's setting, our upcoming calendar, and FAQ!

INFO: kaoru is a rich, rich boy, heir to a fashion empire back home. he's kind of a brat: selfish and rude at the best of times. if you get on his good side, though, he's a real sweetheart, and behind all his posturing, he's really just a huge ball of nervous energy. oh also he's an identical twin, so there's that.
REGRET: kaoru's regret is spending so long stuck by his identical twin's side. which is totally great and definitely not something he's going to have issues working through considering hikaru is here too.
CR WISHLIST: please give me people he can torment. teasing tamaki has grown so stale. more seriously, kaoru can be a nice guy, especially when hikaru isn't around to enable him, so people he can get close to and show his more serious side to would be great! also he is going to need help with all this mission stuff because he's not exactly athletic. but really i'm down for anything!!

CANON POINT: fresh out of space! V was taken the Arasaka orbital station, somewhere just out of Earth's atmosphere, regretting EVERYTHING and feeling very sorry for himself

INFO: V is the rough and ready lil corpo rat player character from a Very Finished And Not Glitchy At All little video game called Cyberpunk 2077. In Night City his dick sometimes clips through his trousers. I'll try not to let that happen here.

Thanks to the thing he regrets most (see below) V has recently had the ghost of a dead terrorist (also his possible soulmate, not that V has realised that) cut out of his brain and he's feeling pretty pathetic about it.

REGRET: Spoiler free: V is basically from the BAD ENDING of Cyberpunk 2077, so his regret is to essentially reload an earlier save point and try again. Long form with a spoiler: V regrets taking Hanako Arasaka's deal and having the biochip surgically removed from his mind and getting Johnny shredded for good. SUCH a bad move.

CR WISHLIST: V has a very handy cyberdeck that lets him interact with networks using his head! So give me AIs and robot/cyborg types for some not at all unethical mental tinkering. He's also pretty hand with firearms and the ol' katana, so anyone who's up for sparring and/or firearm practice in the training room would be great. Also V has absolutely zero cooking skills, so someone who can help him make the absolute food basics like a boiled egg would be great. Unless the teleporter thing can make his beloved Night City junk food materialise in which case don't bother, V will happily just eat pure trash for the rest of his life.

For roomies: hello, who would like to share a cabin with this guy, his glowy eyes and his clipping dick and his MANY SWEATY NIGHTMARES it'll be fun I promise. Adults only, any gender is fine!

She is the antagonist for most her series, but taken from a point where she's sort of rethinking things. She's just a troubled child who grew up with some bad thoughts who needs some serious realignment.
REGRET: Pulling the switch on the portal that broke the world...
CR WISHLIST: negative cr is almost guaranteed with Catra, but I'd love some cr that really challenges her world view. I'd also love her to find people she'd stick her neck out for. Catra can be an extremely loyal friend at times. So just people who push her outside her usual box.

CHARACTER: Daylight vis Lornlit, Everlight of Emergency Aid vos Evermar, the Chainbreaker.

INFO: From a sci-fi setting where he's the only son of two historically important individuals from his universe, both of them having ties to something known as the Legacy War - A centuries-spanning and galaxies-spanning conflict between his father's species that Daylight is still personally feeling the effects of to this day. After struggling with expectations others (and himself, mostly himself) placed on his shoulders - and having a crisis upon learning they literally had him so he could die to save the world, thanks mom and dad! - he's come to accept himself and is a happier, more content Daylight because of it. He worked as an adventurer, more or less, travelling the stars to explore new places and help those who he can.

Daylight is a passionate and loyal guy who is emotionally honest and friendly who loves making friends and is more than happy to get involved in missions! While he does have issues of being easy to read and overemotional - not to mention having a bad habit of pushing himself too hard when it's all hands on deck for an adventure - Daylight is a nice guy.

REGRET: Letting the real identity of Cloudshift be discovered and known. Erin wouldn't have been able to deduce the correlation between Nemesism and Cloudshift if Daylight hadn't allowed her so much freedom to roam the Shattered Star as his guest, despite friends' pleas and warnings of her behaviour leading up to the assassination attempt.

Though Daylight has complicated feelings about the circumstances surrounding Nemesism's reformatting and the fact Nemesism did lead the most brutal period of the Legacy War, leaving no mercy or quarter to enemies and hapless victims alike, he knows Cloudshift is an innocent in this messed-up situation. He would like, if possible, to have the identity become a secret again so the poor weaponless Galateion will not be targeted by anyone who would either punish them for things they have no memory of or turn them into some sort of pawn.

GAME PLANS: I would love for Daylight to learn from others in terms of combat and fighting, since that's something he'd like to shape up on. Him helping others out in their attempts to undo their regret would also be cool since he's always a helper first, taker second for these sorts of situations. I'd also love for Daylight to be someone's personal chauffeur and just. Have him carry or hold someone aloft as they go planet to planet.

CR WISHLIST: Fellow sci-fi setting buddies, hello! I would love for Daylight to compare notes with others and see what they have, what he has, and what they have in common because of checks and balances, constants and variables as his Uncle Taxon likes to say. Those from Earth are also of interest to him since he was first raised by his mainly human family and he's pretty fond of Earthlings as a result - He would love to hear all about their pop culture stuff and how it defers from what he knows of his first homeworld. I'd also love to meet nature/art lovers for Daylight as he's an artistic soul who is fond of art and flowers! Let him talk about gardening and/or make a garden buddy group!

NFO: draken is a 15 year old kid, believe it or not - yes, despite looking like that - who's a delinquent and the vice-commander of the biker gang, the tokyo manji gang. but really, he's got a heart of gold - he cares about other people, and has a strong set of moral principles that he follows, including not getting outsiders involved in the gang's business, and he acts as something as a moral compass for the gang's leader and his best friend, mikey. he's pretty mature for his age, though he's gone through a lot lately, and i'm interested to see how he might be affected by ximilia.
REGRET: draken's regret is a major manga spoiler, so i've spoiler tagged it - it's not being able to protect emma/not being able to prevent her death.
CR WISHLIST: everyone and everything!! honestly this is my first time writing draken so i'm super hyped to get him to interact with everyone. people he can be friends with, people to annoy the shit out of him, people he can confide him, people who absolutely baffle him... i'm here for it all. oh, and of course i'm open to negative cr as well if that's what you're interested in!

i'd especially love people he can protect, but also those he can open up to about his burdens and those who can protect/guide him, since he doesn't get that a lot!

INFO: Tsundere giant robot pilot. A good dumb nerd under the loud, cranky, grouchy exterior. Once got good luck amulets for his teammates like the cute little folklore geek he is. He's also a genetically enhanced human and he is VERY PROUD OF THAT but he's better about being proud without tearing down normal people now. If you want some more little info bits I have a small stats page that I tried to cram a lot into using as little words as possible.

REGRET: Basically that people who had NO RIGHT DYING in the war died, but where his own actions are concerned. IE: first series he was too angry/impulsive, got his ass kicked a lot because he never listened, and was pretty useless in battle. MAYBE IF HE WASN'T, HIS FRIENDS WOULDN'T BE DEAD? Maybe if he had some BETTER foresight about an odd space thing a bunch of his space colonies wouldn't have been blown up? Tragic!

He's also willing to undo this to an extent, which I already tapped into in the TDM when I was writing a tag where he basically said, he's not here to add to his regrets. And SEED is a series that deals with morals and choices and what's wrong and right and how nothing is as black and white as it might seem, and Yzak's developed a pretty level and somewhat flexible way of thinking with that. He used to be blindly loyal, and he's still loyal to his home and his people, but for the sake of ending things for the good of everyone, he knows now that SOMETIMES it's ok to maybe........ not......... listen to and take orders from your suddenly genocidal leaders.....

GAME PLANS: Right now I hope and SETTLE IN and have fun above all else! Hit the ground running, get established, start on some CR. For Yzak I like to see how things shake out for him. It's always fun taking him away from home because he is very attached to his work and his life there, but since this game has this kind of goal, his adjustment to it will be something I haven't played with in a while! So I look forward to exploring that.

CR WISHLIST: Yzak thrives best with more outgoing people who can drag him out of his stubborn cranky zone and enjoys that challenge. Please friendship terrorize and tease him and make him do silly and cute things, Yzak will FROWN A LOT and call you an idiot but that means he likes you (idiot is his favorite thing to call his best friend). On the flip side to that, other soldiers/leaders to talk the BULLSHIT OF WAR (and politics) with are always fun. Yzak has a lot of talents (giant robos, weapons handling, he dabbles in cooking and music, horseback riding, CHESS, he enjoys folklore) that he will proudly flaunt to whoever will listen - whether they care to hear it or not, but anyone who shares his talents or hobbies would be cute and fun because I love playing out small things like that. I also love him interacting with non-humans/magic users since none of that stuff he's really used to! Make him feel awkward as he navigates that and adjusts his ways of thinking! He can also be insightful and shockingly good at advice and stuff, so if people need that, I'd love to play with that side of him more too. I'm flexible, and Yzak is a character who can be flexible depending on what the mood is too. ♥ He can range from comedically screamy to serious time soldier boy.

INFO: He's a 106 year old formerly brainwashed supersoldier who was used as an assassin for seventy years. He's finally starting to come to terms with the fact that even though he was the Winter Soldier and killed a lot of people, he isn't actually responsible for his actions. Not that it makes it any easier to handle, but baby steps!

REGRET: Surviving the fall off the train, during the war. The way he sees it, if he died there, he never would have become the Winter Soldier. (And yes, he gets that it wouldn't keep Hydra from using one of the others. But at least it wouldn't have been him killing people.) He won't be telling anybody what his regret is, and will instead say that it's falling out of contact with Sam after the Blip. It is something he regrets, so it's not technically a lie?

GAME PLANS: At some point, he'll start to question whether his regret is the right choice. But he needs to come to terms with the fact that he does actually have a place in the world outside of being a supersoldier who's good in a fight. So that's a big focus for him. He's still figuring out who he is, and it's only been a couple of weeks since he started making any real progress on that. So between his current regrets, the personal missions, and the other people on Ximilia, the hope is for Bucky to get pushed and tested in ways he hasn't had to deal with before.

CR WISHLIST: Everything. He's still trying to figure out his place in the world, so people who'll be patient with him are a plus. But at the same time, people who'll push him/not treat him with kid gloves. He won't be looking for roommates because he knows the best worst people and they've staked a claim on his dumb butt. That said! He'll be on the look out for anyone who seems to be on their own/in need of someone to watch their back. Because he's been doing that since he was a kid, and he's not about to stop any time soon. The only actual no's are anything romantic. He needs to expand his friendship circle of one, first. There's also some birdbrain with a shield on the station that he might want to keep an eye on too.

INFO: Biosheet, Permissions/CWs/Opt-Out | Sam Wilson is a former AirForce pararescueman turned veteran counsellor turned superhero the Falcon turned Captain America. He's a sweetheart, standing up for the disenfranchised, dedicated to helping and saving people, and the first to sacrifice himself for others based on that. Sam's a people person, companionable and seemingly open to others without ever actually opening a lot, internalizing his trauma and pain to unhealthy degrees. By no means a pushover or doormat, he's stubborn as a mule and likely to rankle at authority. Oh, and he can for sure be one half of a whole idiot, with the other side of that questionable honour going to one Bucky Barnes. Sam has no super powers, but is a trained paramedic with combat and firearm expertise, plus additional survival trainings. Oh, and he has a cute drone named Redwing - not a pet, not sentient, despite how hard Sam will try to convince others.
REGRET: Karli Morgenthau's death. He tried so hard to reach her, to bring her in from the cold, and he got so close to succeeding. She was misguided teenager who fought for a good cause, and he wishes he could have done right by her and saved her. He wants to be the kind of hero someone like Karli needs and wants to see in the world - so failing her sits harder on him than any other past regrets and failures that weigh on him, though it's just the latest in a chain of trauma related to failing to save people. Fun fact, Vivica looks and sounds like Karli, so being here is just a special kind of torture for Sam.
GAME PLANS: I want to explore Sam's moral horizon in terms of what he will be willing to do/risk to fulfill his goals, and deal with the fallout of him inevitably having to wrestle with morality vs his regret and need to fix it.
CR WISHLIST: Found family's a big thing with Sam. Give him sparring partners, people to cook for, people to joke around with, people who love Redwing half as much as he does, people to adopt, protect and get self-sacrificial over, and people who see through his defense mechanisms

INFO: renfri is basically a more murderous version of snow white: the former princess of creyden whose stepmother and a wizard tried to have her assassinated; instead, she survived, and became a deadly swordswoman and dedicated her life to trying to kill the wizard in question. renfri is very forthright about herself, unapologetic about her existence and how she's been forced to live. she's a nice mix of vengeful and flirty, charming and deadly.

REGRET: that she didn't manage to kill stregobor before geralt came to blaviken. she will tell this freely to anyone who asks.
GAME PLANS: eventually, my goal is to have her realise that she should instead regret not believing geralt and wasting her life on getting revenge instead of living it... but that's going to take some time and effort. right now, she's still hell-bent on getting stregobor to pay.

CR WISHLIST: the usual "please throw everything at me" goes, but here's some deets:

INFO: twenty-something thief and aspiring crime boss from steampunk fantasy euro russia at war. pragmatic, self-interested, and clever as the devil. hard to read and emotionally withholding (traumatic backstory, obvs). grouchy and harsh, but he has a large network in canon, so he’ll be more approachable as he looks to rebuild that. once won over, he can be funny in a bone dry / gallows humour way and stupid loyal. visually, he serves the all-black victorian-yet-twenties gangster look, always wears gloves, and carries a cane, limping on his right leg. both a brain and a bruiser. dramatic little (*6ft) shit.
REGRET: spoilers for the books: it’s the classic dead brother sads

GAME PLANS: it’ll be a slow-burn, but make genuine connections and work through whether his regret should actually be changed. also, zoom towards any mysteries, like the locked wing, as he can’t leave a puzzle alone. on the reg, he is a man with a plan and keen eye for finding others’ uses, so he could be an ic enabler & planner for anyone interested, encouraging characters to undertake active roles in missions’ and embrace their strengths to benefit their collective odds of success — or concocting high-risk high-reward schemes to get the job done. will wear a fake mustache and tell you to weave through lasers to steal precious gems, etc. otherwise just looking for things to test him and force him to adapt to the world outside of his hometown hive of scum and villainy.

INFO: so edelgard is kind of sort of maybe the story's main antagonist for the latter half of the game, depending on the route you as the mc decide to take. she's a young woman in her 20s who basically had to grow up way too fast, due in part to a Tragic Past™ involving childhood experiments and all the trauma that that tends to entail. she has a chip on her shoulder because she's pretty much made it her responsibility to ensure that no one should ever have to suffer the same fate that she did, but that basically means she wants to dismantle the very foundations her world's current society is based on... even if it means starting a whole ass war for it. so, fun! as far as first impressions go, she's very cordial and affable, if a little stiff and awkward due to her noble upbringing. oh, and she's also an empress and you know, a war criminal.

REGRET: though she still believes she fought for a just cause, she does regret all the innocent lives that had been lost due to all the fighting that took place, particularly those that were used by the church. edelgard will view this experience as an opportunity to atone for some of the blood she had spilled, and a way for her to save the souls lost to the crest stones that turned them into literal monsters. whether or not this will involve more morally grey decisions on her part and thus beginning the cycle anew... eh.

GAME PLANS: right now i'm just interested to see where the journey will take her! i'd love for her to loosen up a little, now that she isn't literally spearheading a war. it would also be nice for her to take the backseat a bit and let others lead, and in the meantime maybe allow herself to enjoy the aspects of life that she had previously denied herself because of all the responsibility she placed on herself. oh, i also want her to learn how to shoot a gun. preferably one with lasers. 8D

INFO: A centuries old magical man who can control shadows. As per canon, the Darkling withholds information about himself until it's prudent for his own selfish needs to disclose them. He seems charming, friendly and maybe even approachable at first. He has a tragic backstory about love and loss and trying to save 'his' people (the Grisha - this world's version of magic) from being burned as witches or pushed out of society. Think Magneto, but with more black clothes and a friendlier face. In an effort to save these people, he used his powers hundred of years ago and created a Shadow Fold that tore his country in two. The Fold is unlivable, inhabited by the mutated former humans who lived there (the volcra- winged, bloodthirsty beasts) and stupidly dangerous to cross.

To control the Fold and use it to threaten neighboring countries, he needs the powers from a Sun Summoner and he uses all means to keep her under his control.

He uses people for his own gain without remorse and he looks down on people who are not Grisha / magical.

REGRET: What set all of this in motion, was the death of his wife / lover Luda 400 years ago. His regret is being the reason she died, which lead to more Grisha dying and the creation of the Shadow Fold.

GAME PLANS: I kind of want him to see that usefulness and worth are not synonymous. To be friendly with people, while lying about his motives, and have it blow up in his face because you can't risk your life with people on a regular basis and not grow feelings. I want him to learn that the end doesn't justify the means.

INFO: Natasha was trained from a young age to be an elite spy and assassin. She has since come over to SHIELD until it fell and served as one of the original Avengers. She's a fantastic liar and an okay friend sometimes.
REGRET: Not being able to keep the Avengers together during the fight over the Sokovia Accords (specifically, she'd like to have convinced Tony not to sign the accords). She will not admit this to anyone easily and likely not at all. She also has no problem erasing the experiences that came after, despite Tony being very up front that he doesn't want to lose his family. He won't know what he's missing from that future she's undoing and if she has to live with that, it's hardly the worst thing she's done. At least, this is what she thinks now. She is absolutely willing to betray people in game for this, however.
GAME PLANS: I would love to find friends and allies and then test those relationships when they're put at odds with each other. Natasha's morals are very pragmatic and big picture, especially with her current canon point, so I'd love to test personal connections and maybe make her come to question her goals here.

INFO: Just the Worst Robot in the World. Nervous, high-strung, easily excitable, never, ever, ever shuts up. He’s generally friendly but kind of a tactless jerk and not necessarily the sharpest knife in the drawer. The big secret is that he’s designed to generate terrible ideas and impede the functions of fellow AI, and he has a massive inferiority complex about it. Underneath the genial exterior is a robot who is very embittered with his lot in (artificial) life, and sometimes the cracks show.

He was most recently a Final Boss, which did not end well for him, and he will be working desperately to make sure nobody knows about the time he went homicidally insane. Please do not call him a moron. If you’d like to read more, his app is here!
REGRET: Wheatley regrets doing a betrayal, getting plugged into the Aperture mainframe, attempting a bunch of murder, and getting shot to the Moon where he gets to drift aimlessly for All Eternity. He is also very embarrassed by this and is unlikely to share and/or plans to outright lie about it. Nobody likes a homicidal robot. Unfortunately, he has no morals or empathy, and kind of dislikes humans a little bit, so he will most certainly be ready to throw everything and everyone under the bus if it means his own personal fulfillment. GAME PLANS: turn him into a better person (robot) if it kills him (it will).
CR WISHLIST: I’m ready for anything and everything. Wheatley is very friendly and DESPERATE to be liked so he will be alternating between being very nervous about humans and wanting to be as helpful as possible, which is often bad for everyone. He currently has the ability to hover, but he doesn’t know this yet, so to start he might need a friendly hand or two to help him around while he figures things out (he is a beachball-sized robot with no limbs). I also plan to work on getting him some arms and legs, so I’d love to connect with some technologically-oriented characters who might be able to help make that happen!

The stress has worn him down but there's still a noble and good intentioned person in there just trying to do right.

REGRET: Failing to find and rescue Trahearne, Zojja, Logan, before they were captured by Mordremoth which lead to Trahearne's untimely death.

GAME PLANS: I'm here to push Syrlya right out of his comfort zone. Maybe he'll learn he can't bury all his problems forever. Maybe he'll have to face his guilt properly instead of deciding they ain't gotta unpack all that. Syrlya's basically had his life's purpose decided for him from the beginning and it's singularly defined him, maybe he'll scrape more of an identity out of the bonds he makes and the choices he's forced to make.

CR WISHLIST: This is where I put 'everything' despite the vaugeness being completely unproductive to actual plans. I like to wing it.

It is very unlikely he'll be turning any of his abilities against other PCs because he doesn't just... go around abusing people's trust or beating them up. INFO: Clarke was born in space and thrown into post apocalyptic Earth where she soon takes on the the role of being one of the leaders of the delinquents. She is the medic of the group once they are on the ground and she tries her hardest to protect and keep her people safe and circumvent wars between the Grounders or any other threat constantly trying to survive. She can be a bit standoff-ish, way too serious for her own good and most of the time she can come across like a bossy know it all without realizing since she comes across as very authoritative with the confidence to match. Clarke does have some trust, self loathing issues and a huge guilt complex going on but she's loyal and stubborn to a fault while being pretty selfless when it comes to protecting her people and those she considers to be her friends.
REGRET: Leaving camp after Mount Weather.
GAME PLANS: Clarke is kind of suspicious of how legit all so she is inwardly questioning how this might be too good to be true but currently she'll be trying to get settled in. From being in game though, my plans are to build her connections (and learn how to better friendship) with people while working through her issues and coming to terms with the awful things she has done in canon.

→ Friendships (aka please help her stop being a loner)! People she might end up butting heads with due to differing opinions. She's from the year 2150 but the thing about being born in space after the world already ended is that not a lot of modern things would have been invented or salvaged and brought back to space. She might be well read about Earth things but lbr it might not be accurate across worlds, there are still things that are very new to her in a lot of ways!

INFO: Edward is that typical 'jerk with a heart of gold' type. He has a temper (usually from being called short or some variation of comment about his height or lack thereof). He's a teenage prodigy who joined the military at the age of twelve for access to their research in figuring a way to restore his brother Alphonse's body, basically. He and his brother's bodies were taken (Al's whole body - he's a soul bound to a suit of armor now, Ed had his leg and arm taken, so he has auto-mail metal prosthetics) in the attempt to bring back their mother after she passed away from an illness. The series is essentially about their journey and the friends and foes they meet along the way in getting their bodies back. He's a prodigy in the field of alchemy - basically, when you analyze what something is made from, and use those same ingredients to make something out of of the same materials. Has the Worst taste in aesthetics (read as: takes after Hohenheim, his father with the flames and skulls and horns in his transmutations....).
REGRET: Al losing his body in that attempt to bring back Trisha.
GAME PLANS: Initially I guess just figuring him settling in and making friends? Or enemies because he's a brat and calls it like he sees it lbr. He's gonna have a lot of adjusting to do given he's from like the 1910s era back home so all this technology is gonna be very ???? to him. I want to challenge him with regards to the missions/personal missions in that he will refuse to kill in order to get the orb/his personal mission completed, given he refuses in canon in knowing Al would Not Approve of getting his body back at such a cost. So. Yeeeah he's gonna be making this harder for himself sometimes.
CR WISHLIST: People to tease and found family at him, friends, allies, mooching princes, terrifying women to look out for him as usual in his life? Ed is used to a variety there so I'm pretty open to most anything, really. Other child soldiers/prodigies and such? Someone to possibly have a look in being able to have someone to repair his arm when he inevitably breaks that without Winry here? Seems like that should also be a priority. INFO: local orphan & cartographer in ravka's first army gets thrust into a position of power that she never wanted, is considered an Actual Saint by the world. alina comes from fantasy russia — ravka — a country split in two by a dark rift known as the fold, only to discover she's the answer to destroying it. alina is ravka's prophesized sun summoner, born with the ability to wield light, on a journey of self-discovery as a result of being pushed into said power.

alina's relationship status with her powers can be summed up as It's Complicated. as for alina herself: she's an outsider who has always felt lonely and osctracized, due to being part-shu han in a country that resents her parentage due to her "looking like the enemy". as a result, she's scrappy and guarded, stubborn and strong-willed, while also riddled with self-doubt and a whole heaping of sarcasm.

REGRET: being found and captured by kirigan before she could claim the stag (and the destruction that occurred in the fold & the lives lost, as a result).

GAME PLANS: mostly, dealing with her grapples with power and the responsibility that comes with it. i'll have more plans in mind for her as the game progresses!

CR WISHLIST: alina has all of one friend who likes her for who she is, as opposed to getting close to her for what she can do. actual friends and confidants to help her work through her issues would be aces; she'll especially be looking for strong allies once she realizes she's out of her element (which... will happen very quickly, lbr). people to teach her to become a better combatant without the use of her powers because she is Not Good with it. despite being a hero type, alina can mesh well with morally grey types when their plights are sympathetic — and can easily be fooled by morally evil/selfish types because of her naivete. i also genuinely love negative cr when it comes to clashes over ideological differences or forcing characters who don't like one another to team up and start accidentally relating to one another more than they'd like to.

for the most part, i don't like to set cr plans in stone! i prefer to aim for a general idea or just fling two characters at each other to see what happens organically. c:

In case you don't know Shadow and Bone, the Darkling isn't LBGT+, BUT he is a part of a minority group in his home world. His group is hunted, burned at the literal stake and used in scientific experiments. So, he kind of broke the world a little to get revenge and to gain enough power to make sure it didn't happen again (okay, okay, he's the bad guy, but his reasons are kind of valid).

INFO: Tamaki is a questionable ex-rich kid. He was previously the head host within the host club he created...at his high school. If Tamaki was real, he'd be the person people would quote tweet EAT THE RICH at. Sheltered, only now vaguely familiar with a lot of normal things normal people do because he's so rich he has become ABnormal. Dramatic, expressive, unnecessary. Prone to give you the ol' razzle dazzle. He's also absolutely the idea man and the execution man, but...that doesn't work well a lot of the time. I know y'all have seen this show before, you know get the gist.
REGRET: While he does like his life and knows what he must do to fulfill his duties as son and member of the Suoh family, Tamaki regrets not staying with his mother in France, as he now doesn't know how or where she is.
GAME PLANS: Honestly I don't have any long term plans, I like to see where the breeze blows me. I just like putting ridiculous/comedy characters in serious settings where they have to adapt to that huge tonal shift.
CR WISHLIST: Tamaki is really personable and agreeable in terms of how he initially comes off to people — you can definitely get irritated by his bullshit if he lets down the host veneer — so I always like CR with people who will irritate him/throw him off. He can be extremely irritable around the right kind of person, so it's possible! In general, for as outgoing as he is, Tamaki still has a very tight friend circle he doesn't step out of, so someone to add to that roster is always welcome. Additionally, Tamaki is in awe of the lower class in his world, let alone the idea that there are worlds outside of his. He'll be really intrigued and fascinated by people who comes from universes/cultures very different from his. Finally, anyone who wants to ~check his privilege~, feel free.

I have no idea how any of this will go over but I feel it's worth mentioning that Rosinante here is basically an exiled member of his world's ruling class and he utterly despises them and wants no association with them and fears anyone even finding out he was born one of them sooo while he's not like, adamantly against all rich people by default, if and when these two meet there will definitely be some abrasion, haha.

But, I mean, I think that sounds like a lot of fun and also I love the potential for them finding some sort of common ground anyway eventually because Rosi also has a lot of sympathy for kids on their own who clearly don't know how to function in the big scary real world - especially since apparently there turn out to be lots of worlds and also times what the fuck.

Make of that what you will, but I'm here for it.
