CHARACTER: murderbot

INFO: murderbot answers the question of what happens when you combine a computer and a human. and the answer is: depression, anxiety, ptsd, and a very awkward person who would much rather watch media than talk to anyone. despite the name, murderbot is not super murderous, and actually likes when it can solve problems with minimal bloodshed. it can definitely fuck shit up, though. the whole series involves a lot of competency porn.

i apologize in advance because murderbot is not very friendly and will definitely take some time to warm up to people, although other non-humans will likely have an easier time of that because humans suck. the problem with being treated like an appliance for most of its life is that it has a hard time trusting humans.

REGRET: there was a whole accidental massacre caused by malware. murderbot does NOT want to talk about it. however it has made peace with what happened, at least in a personal sense, so while it's willing to help out to recover the orbs, it likely won't do anything horrific just to complete its personal goals

GAME PLANS: murderbot is slowly on the path to like… acknowledging that it's a person with wants and needs and emotions, and that's the journey i want it to continue in-game. it needs to learn that it's allowed to have feelings and they're not immediately the worst thing in the world.

CR WISHLIST: probably not shocking but: everything!! non-human cr is obviously great, especially other robot/computer adjacent folks. but also gimme humans to be nice to murderbot, it's slowly learning that not all humans are shitty.

negative cr is cool, too! murderbot can absolutely be a dick and doesn't really care to follow social norms about politeness etc, so it could butt heads pretty easily with people.

ETC: as may be obvious by now, murderbot uses it/its pronouns, which is common for most bots/AI/etc in canon. also even though I'm using a female actor as a PB, murderbot is fairly gender neutral in appearance and has neither primary or secondary sex characteristics (so no titties), we'll just have to use the power of imagination because a bitch can't afford icon commissions

murderbot is coming in with a handful of surveillance drones but they'll mostly stick with murderbot (it essentially uses them as an accessibility device so it doesn't have to look directly at people) and won't be spying on anyone in private spaces.

INFO: just a boi... Cain is a soldier for the Federated Alliance, your stereotypical Space Government Entity, enlisted in a war against insectoid aliens who are trying to conquer them. Or so is the story. There is not a ton of fleshing-out done with the lore, unfortunately. The basic premise is that Cain is forced into a "honeypot" mission in order to make use of alien technology nobody really understands that well. Cain gets a lot of focus as a temperamental, crude, promiscuous, rough-and-tumble type of guy with a deep down softer, gooey center that he's uncomfortable showing. tsun tsun dere dere

REGRET: He regrets getting arrested because it led to... basically everything else, and took him away from home. He wants nothing more than to return to his home on Mars! Super homesick, super woobie about it.

GAME PLANS: Cain fits really well into the sci-fi/mission based environment, so I'm hoping he makes friends/enemies/lovers(?!?!) and eventually cools down on how angrwy (uwu) he can be. He doesn't have any special abilities, either, so that's worth noting. He can fight and shoot guns really well but that's about it. Please help him not die.

CR WISHLIST: Give me anything, I'm here for a good time not a long time. I LOVEEE found family with Cain, since he has some family issues (nothing traumatic but related to homesickness for sure). Older brothers/sister types do really well with him because he's a little gremlin. Also, friends with benefits WAVES HANDS. He essentially just got dumped so once he's settled, he'd definitely rebound hard lmao. Still has feelings for Abel, his partner, so that'll be something to work through. Also also, negative CR! I adore it. Cain is vulgar and rude so it's bound to happen. Fight him.

My most specific wishlist item is someone eventually learning his real name, Alexei, because please it'd be so cute.

INFO: rita farr is a former hollywood actress from the 1950s who was exposed to a toxic gas, which then altered her cellular structure, allowing her body to stretch and deform. though often seen as conceited and uptight, rita is the maternal figure and leader of a superhero group known as the "doom patrol", formed of reluctant and depressed superpowered beings who prefer to act more in their own self-interest than become actual heroes. here's a forever-in-progress info page for more.
REGRET: rita's regret is turning away marybeth wooten who needed her help after having a baby with a hollywood producer that rita had introduced her to and had been left with nothing, only to take her own life a week later. the trauma of it continued to haunt rita for over sixty years and she would want another chance to help marybeth.
SEMI-RECAP: rita is making her grand return!! she's been in game before, having spent an entire year here before she temporarily left just a few months ago. in her time away, a lot happened at home, including a time travel trip that sent her to 1917 where she'd lost her memory and then spent the next 32 years being happy with a new group of friends and the new love of her life, malcolm. unfortunately, when malcolm gets killed, rita makes some Questionable Choices including setting a plan in motion called the eternal flagellation, meant to swap everyone in the world with their subconscious selves so that they can expose and confront their flaws and insecurities, as her attempt to "rid the world of evil" — only it comes off a bit like an evil mastermind plan. ultimately, she does end up rejoining the doom patrol and becoming their leader as they attempt to be a real superhero team. but with rita very much being rita in how she treats everyone else like school children, she gets booted as a leader, gets tricked in her renewed depressed state, and then has her immortality taken away from her, resulting in her starting to get some aging wrinkle lines and gray hairs.
GAME PLANS: with rita losing her immortality, she's taking a very last chance approach to things. she wants to be able to fix her regret before her own time runs out and she wants to be able to give her all to the very end as to not wallow in her own self pity. i'd love for her to renew her bonds with the oldies and get to know the newbies. she has a lot of enthusiasm to spread around and did quite a lot in terms of rallying people to get involved on missions the last time she was here, so i'd love for her to step up into that proactive role again, especially in helping others that may be more reserved about it.
CR WISHLIST: all kinds of friends! fellow powered beings (especially ones whose powers alter their physical appearance), younger types she can be motherly to, older types that know what it is to live 100+ years, anyone who loves the arts, anyone interested in performing more theatre or acting, anyone who likes to dance, anyone who likes to drink (she loves wine and a good gin and tonic), etc etc etc. having just returned from dealing with lost love, she won't be seeking out any new romance, except for her everlasting (very unrequited) crush on degar and the fact that she's always been enamored with nerdy best boy newt.

INFO: wanda was a member of the avengers before the love of her life, vision, was killed in the war against thanos. his death was another in a list of her many losses including her brother and her parents, and left on her own in the aftermath of the fight, her grief caused her powers to spike, warping the reality of a town called westview, into her image of stereotypical sitcom family living, where she recreated vision along with two twin sons. this incident revealed that wanda's powers actually belonged to a legendary being known as the scarlet witch, a mantle she has now taken up ever since she had to sacrifice her blissful fictional world to spare the lives of the people living in westview, leaving to live in solitude to learn more about her magic.
REGRET: wanda's regret is to undo the psychological trauma experienced by the westview residents when she unintentionally trapped them in her illusion of a sitcom-inspired world and caused them to feel the pain of her nightmares.
GAME PLANS: i'm winging it!! wanda's still dealing with her grief but trying to make up for some of the wrongs she's committed by trying to cope. she's resigned herself to solitude so placing herself back in a team setting is going to be pretty jarring to her since she's been on her own for a while. i'd mostly love for her to develop bonds with people to remind herself that she isn't alone and she can mourn her losses with those who've lost plenty themselves. it's only a few months but i'd like to keep things very cr-focused in terms of what she does with that time.
CR WISHLIST: always up for more magical/powered folk for her to bond with and relate to, people who've dealt with heavy experiences of grief and loss, people she can be supportive to in their hobbies and goals that can give the same encouragement to her, just all the friends!!!! PLEASE SHE NEEDS SUPPORTIVE FRIENDS IN HER LIFE & re: romance, it's not off the shelf entirely, but considering she's lost vision twice, she's going to be extremely reluctant about finding romance anywhere else, so it'd have to be approached with patience and plenty of development to get there (which i'm more than happy to ride out in the few months left, but it'd have to blossom from natural chemistry, she deserves some happy smooches though). re: negative cr, wanda's had enough of it in her life, so unless discussed first, i'm leaning positive energy for her in this game run.

INFO: voted second-most like batman except with a habit of killing people who piss him off bad enough, otherwise known as the robin who died and got better, except all of them have died by now, he just refuses to shut up about it. jason's sassy and snarky, finding new and creative ways to piss people off is one of his favorite hobbies, his other favorite hobby is having no personal life but instead spending 80% of his time dedicated to ~the mission~, 10% of it getting arrested, and the last 10% nose deep in his current favorite book.

GAME PLANS: +1ing rhys' plan of speedrunning cr. i'm here for fun and i'm p flexible with what that means! especially because jason has the tendency to be very volatile, so i try to avoid longterm planning since chances are high something'll ruin it.
CR WISHLIST: give me all the cr, please and ty. jason has a soft spot for kids, and a habit of taking snarky brats under his wing. i love playing with found family dynamics, but he's also a dick who'll surface-fight any feelings off as long as he can. jason can be great for negative cr! he's an asshole with a bad temper and a mouth that doesn't quit, and i'm down for playing with that.

INFO: Hagakure is a sweet-natured, cute teen who wants to be a professional HERO! Her Quirk (aka powers in her world) are invisibility and some manipulation of light. She is constantly invisible, though using magic, heat signatures, night vision, etc can reveal her.
REGRET: She regrets not being more physically strong, so that she can keep up with and help her classmates more frequently — and be a better hero in the process.
GAME PLANS: I absolutely apped her because she's fun and sweet and would be fun compared to my stick in the mud, the T-800 also Ziggy, bless her soul, is still a little grumpy. My general plans with her are just to make really fun CR and be a hero! Maybe jumpscare some CR in the process, too.

Etc etc, we all know the magical tale. He is going to be coming to terms with a slowly budding 'humanity', which freaks him out on the downlow.
REGRET: Uncle Bob had regretted having to die and leave John and Sarah behind. That said, the moment he wakes in Ximilia, he decides to disregard his regret and simply work for the sake of working aboard the Ximilia. He has no reason to go.
GAME PLANS: GOOOOOD I just wanna play around with him becoming less robotic and more of a person, that's just fun business. But also, coming to terms with a very short life of being his own man, so to speak. And making FRIENDS. Friends, imagine that. Weird. Can we do it in 6 months, team???
CR WISHLIST: Again, anyone ever. I love exploring interactions with all kinds of character types, be it fellow robots or people who hate robots or people who don't care either way.

Looks creepy, likes helping people. Not actually a luddite, but her magic fries technology so she tends to see it as being kind of fragile.
REGRET: Her classmates dying in the fight with Kerrigor.
CR WISHLIST: People her age! People to argue with, and discuss/debate magic stuff with! Mentors, and anyone interested in learning magic from her. (She's got slots open for two students, and I've got a writeup here.)
RECAP: Sabriel has been here since the very first mission, and has picked up a few skills, like using a gun and paramedic training, and has come to the conclusion that the orbs are clearly incredibly dangerous, but also can and will reverse the crews regrets.

So she's still all in on this 'reverse regrets' thing.

CANON POINT: about a year after leaving the army in search for a cure to his problem
INFO: Joric is what happens when you mash together Vikings, the Nords of the Elder Scrolls franchise, and the Avvar of the Dragon Age franchise together and bring to a simmer. After suffering the loss of his brother in battle, Joric volunteers to let the mages' council of the army experiment on him to make him a living weapon. He has an enhanced berserker mode meant for battle, but it's taking him over and the bouts of rage are difficult to stop. With no cure in sight, he decides to abandon the army in search of one.
REGRET: He regrets agreeing to the experimental magic in the first place and wants it undone so he can live his life normally again.
CR WISHLIST: After some bad experiences in the past, I'm over doing negative CR. I'm up for anything else: friendship, found family vibes, goofs, deep convos, action scenes. Since he's been on a hair trigger for around a year now, Joric has sort of forgot how to people. He needs friends desperately because he's been alone for so long. He's also missing the idea of family since nearly all of his are dead now and one he'll never see again.
RECAP: This month he'll have been here a whole year! He still doesn't like/mess with most modern tech if he can help it, though indoor plumbing and refrigeration get his seal of approval. Recently he began opening up to others about what was done to him and it's been a real weight off his shoulders. He's also sorta kinda dating Daisy Johnson though he honestly doesn't know it's called that. They're just vibing.

There are exceptions, but as a rule in a world with plants and humans, she'd rather you were a plant.

REGRET: Scaring Harley by almost turning her into a plant zombie, along with the rest of Gotham, at a jazz festival

CR WISHLIST: I'm always here for everything! Negative CR is definitely easy for Ivy, but I know it's not everyone's jam and she's not quite as prickly as she pretends. She's also been relaxing with the crew since, you know, not everyone here is a complete fucking idiot and/or asshole.

Science buds would be cool.

Romance is the one thing that's off the table, unless your name unless your name is Harley Quinn. She is very deeply into her girlfriend and happy with their relationship.

RECAP: Ivy's been around for about half a year, and at this point she has to admit she doesn't actually hate most of the people on the station or being around them. She also sort of likes that she feels like she's been able to contribute productively to at least a couple of missions. Ivy does enjoy getting to use her powers for good, after all. It's just that her idea of good isn't always in step with the rest of the world's.

Shuntaro Chishiya | Alice in Borderland

INFO: Alice in Borderland is a loose retelling of Alice in Wonderland set in an alternate Tokyo where the characters have to play battle royale style death games to survive. Chishiya is the Borderland version of the Cheshire Cat and I will always feel like the easiest way to sum him up is to say he’s the embodiment of the smug cat meme. Seriously. He has a habit of being smug, condescending and kind of a troll. He's clever and he knows it and will not hesitate to tell someone they are being stupid. He’s also incredibly jaded and has a lot of issues due to sad backstory reasons, though he’s mellowed out quite a bit at this point.

ETA: forgot to mention he also loves shit talking people who could kill him. He's a normal guy.

REGRET: Not pushing back against hospital corruption and letting himself be part of the problem.
CR WISHLIST: honestly anything, bc I love throwing him at people and seeing what happens. But for more specific ideas:

- people he can troll
- People who need medical treatment
- Marginalized types because he has a soft spot for them
- People whose bullshit he can call out

RECAP: Chishiya has been around since the March mission with the mushrooms and the asteroid, which was good for him bc it showed him what the crew of the Ximilia was really capable of. And then his second mission he got rediscover his love of practicing medicine which was honestly even better for him. He didn’t like the memory share business or the Pokémon mission, but he had an ok time playing pirate and cheating at cards during the last mission. He also spearheaded negotiations with a dragon for the orb, which was cool, but he will probably never speak of again unless pressed. He tends not to draw much attention to things he does that might make people question him being a little bitch.

INFO: kovacs is a chain-smoking space noir rebel soldier turned private detective who's recently woken up from being asleep or "put on ice" in prison for 250 years. in his world, human consciousnesses are placed into hard drive disks called "stacks" which can be taken out of human bodies referred to as "sleeves", so his mind's been placed in a number of different bodies over the years, currently in one that's on loan and definitely not his own. having lost a lot of friends and family over the years, he's developed a bit of a jaded attitude towards things and initial impressions make him appear fairly intimating and a bit of an asshole, but he actually tends to keep a look out for good people and takes care of them if he can, but won't hesitate to be a prick to those who deserve it in kind. here's a link to his app for more information about his world and what he's like.
REGRET: this has changed, not once, but twice, due to some complicated orb mind games. last november, kovacs had changed his regret to save the life of previous fellow-orber, clara oswald, but his price was that he would lose significant memories every month. last november, those lost memories have tricked him into revising his regret once again, this time to regain and keep his memories, negating his previous deal to save clara.
CR WISHLIST: looking for just about anything! he very greatly appreciates honest people and will easily dislike those that are obsessively putting up fronts and tend to be manipulative. he's especially drawn very heavily towards big acts of loyalty, so he might more easily like those that give that impression. smug, rich folk really put him off. he might seem easily annoyed by talkative and enthusiastic people, but he warms up to them with time. would also love for him to bond with other fellow "immortals" and long-living people! newer folks that might need something of an experienced veteran/mentor to teach them about the missions and the orbs and essentially what not to do, with advice on what they shouldn't do. (not looking for any romantic cr! his heart's been given to marta)
RECAP: way back in last december, kovacs had transformed into the patchwork man on the station as a result of his regret change, harming a lot of orbers in the process. currently, he's trying to get himself comfortable again around the others, trying to devote himself towards a new goal of simply locking up the orbs for good, more so than trying to have any more deals granted. he's decided that he's going to be looking towards the future and commit himself to the overall mission, and what i'd especially love for him to do is to enter a sort of mentor role, or at least be more of a guidance/symbol of advice and caution, for newer orbers, especially for anyone that might consider making a regret change or is a bit more unaware of how dangerous the orbs can really be.

INFO: Cranky commander giant robot pilot from a Gundam series as one of its genetically enhanced humans who has been in game since the start. He's hissy and prickly but clearly a fuckin nerd who cares and he gives that away easily. Please bully him (with friendship). Always busy and out and about whether it's on a mission or on the station and will always help out a teammate, even if he grumbles about it. All serious business about everything and needs to chill a little, probably.

REGRET: 6 giant space colonies full of innocent people not getting blown up. Not fun when your team was right there and COULD have prevented that if you had a few extra minutes but instead had to see that shit go down. :')

CR WISHLIST: Opens my slutty little arms to everyone. Yzak always needs more friends and I would really love for CR to work on and develop into the deeper crunchier things, sibling-esque stuff, found fam, deep bonds, all that. I love when he gets bullied and teased so much because that's such a good opening for more and I'm down with the silly stuff so long as it doesn't just skew that way only.

He's got a bunch of things that are good hooks to thread about: Soldier stuff. Leader stuff. War. War crimes. Losing people. Politics stuff. Giant robots. Living in space. Genetic enhancement. Right vs wrong. Formerly being a Big Dumb Fool Who Got Good Character Development. Folklore. Collecting amulets/charms. Music. Magic. Parental issues. Marriage issues. Meaningful Injuries. He's curious about basically anything since he wants to KNOW and LEARN so he's good if you want your character to be Questioned. The only nos here are ships because he's widowed and neg stuff if it's not going anywhere.

I'm also flexible af OOCly so if you're like "damn I wish I could bring up x trait about my character that I hardly get to" come at me bro I am down to craft up any scenario to make it happen nothing is too cringe for me, let's live the dream. He can also be p insightful and not bad at advice about things (whether it's given nicely or with that "you idiot" flavor) and I haven't gotten to do that much so let's trade up on things we want to make happen and make them happen baby.

RECAP: Ximilia elder shakes cane. Yzak's grown over time to be more tolerant (or maybe also more less surprised) toward wild ass sounding things since he's kind of seen it all by now. He learned magic as an additional way to fight once he realized simple (peak) physical doesn't always cut it in these odd worlds. He's softened up considerably over time and even considered his own happiness over duty/obligation but that all blew up in his face so he's kind of backslid into just hyperfocusing on the mission and undoing his regret.

Yujin Mikotoba is a Japanese doctor & professor from 1899 and currently his country's foremost expert in forensic pathology. He's a father (and foster father), teacher, diplomat, mentor, and John Watson wait hold on a second. Yep, when he was an exchange student to London 16 years ago, it was Yujin who was Herlock Sholmes' 221B flatmate and trusty investigative partner! As you might expect he's the picture of a polite Victorian/Meiji gentleman... who quietly LOVES shaking the table, getting into shenanigans, being an obtuse weirdo, being quietly very sad and not talking about it, etc. Don't worry about it, he's a normal man and NOT hiding his specific brand of mildly crazy ride-or-die sidekick. It's fine.

REGRET: Not speaking out or catching the forgery of evidence during the autopsy of Klint van Zieks.

CR WISHLIST:
Some angles that could be fun: fellow 40+ orbers, people also from the past, healthcare/healers, other forensics nerds, people who need doctoring, fourthwalling mystery nerds (it's okay, the stories are published in his canon too), young folks to uncle/mentor, weirdos annoying enough to test his patience. But I love to throw spaghetti at the wall so I'm happy to try out whatever!

RECAP:
After over a year on Ximilia (thanks for the extra 2 months, Ndeira mission) he's chilled out, opened up a little by virtue of embarrassing himself in front of the crew a few times oops, gotten gayer and... has accepted that he wants to go home without taking his orb deal, which. Great timing buddy, it's endgame now LOL. Yujin had a great time on the Ankata mission with his not-Pokemon, and felt really good about the role he played in helping Yasuo & Bulbkip and finding the orb, as well as getting to both hang out a lot and work out some personal baggage with friends. Because I was on hiatus, he came home early from Hhial and missed all the dragon murder, but he was JUST in time for Newt to bring home the dreaded pirate flu now plaguing the station LMAO.

Overall, he's doing great! He misses some core CR that has left the station-- while Kazuma leaving of his own will has eased almost all his worries about his foster son, he is under the impression his bestie Jakethedog Adventuretime was gonna DIE when he got home so he's feeling sad and Conflicted over it-- but he's gotten a little closer to other Ximi friends and is, again, feeling pretty optimistic. Especially because he's. ICly got it in his head that he's gonna go home at some point soon.

Please pity him for the incoming crosscanon-castmate Holmesian disaster he's about to endure.

INFO: Yennefer is a sorceress from Vengerberg, the capital city of Aedirn (which exists within a place known as the Continent); she grew up severely disfigured and ostracized in her small village due to her quarter-elf heritage, and was eventually sold by her family to rectoress Tissaia de Vries to undergo magic training at Aretuza, an academy for young women who have a connection to Chaos (the name for the magical force in The Witcher). After overcoming certain obstacles, she ascended to the position of sorceress, and after a harrowing and painful magical ordeal, she was also transformed physically into her current body. She became the personal mage to the king of Aedirn, cleaning up political messes and babysitting annoying royals, until she got tired of her position and ditched it to offer magic remedies to any people willing to pay her for them; after that, she was drifting around the Continent looking for any solution that would restore her ability to become a mother herself.

At the end of the first season, she channeled a ridic amount of fire to fend off advancing enemy forces at the Battle of Sodden Hill, but the consequences (as revealed at the beginning of Season 2) were the depletion of her power entirely, and she went the entire season without access to her Chaos before a selfless act resulted in having that power restored. She started the series as someone fixated on power and control and wanted to be able to make every choice for her life regarding both; now, she's in a position where she's realizing that having that power is likely the result of her not trying to maintain such a harsh grip on it all the time, and her real strength might be found in a new family (provided they can forgive her for past actions).

REGRET: Yennefer's biggest regret is her initial betrayal of Geralt (and by extension, Ciri) in Season 2; even if she didn't inevitably go through with it and ultimately worked to fight against the biggest threat to the girl's safety at the end of the season, it remains her most significant transgression against two people she cares for and something she would actively seek to change if she could. It's still taking her some time to get around to opening up about it (although she could get there with a handful of people as of now), and in the midst of pursuing various means to undo it, there's no telling what she might be willing to resort to in order to reverse that action.

CR WISHLIST: Honestly, everyone and anyone! People who hail from any kind of magic-based world (or worlds that include magic or other form of power) would be a source of fascination for her, ladies especially; non-humans who might be able to recognize that she is not fully human herself; fellow olds/immortals who are actually much older than they appear (Yen is in her early 80s and thriving obvs); children/young adults that she might make an attempt to mother in her own misguided way; more talkative/outgoing characters for her to either tolerate or barely disguise her annoyance for. Romance is probably not in the cards for her (outside of one silver-haired witcher in particular), but she has pursued some casual physical relationships with people she is trying her best not to develop real feelings for — right now, she has a lot of It's Complicated dynamics with a small circle of close CR. I'm definitely not opposed to negative CR in the slightest because she's got a tendency to rub people the wrong way by her very nature and has even fewer fucks to give about maintaining deep emotional connections, and she could lend herself to more than a few frenemies or begrudging allies as well.

RECAP: Yennefer has been on many missions now! And survived! She also discovered that while her magic is at half-performance level on the station, she can tap into a whole lot more on missions, although she has ended up nerfed even on those here and there, much to her chagrin. She's open for meetings and random encounters on the station in the downtime between missions, although she's also not in the best emotional state at the moment due to Ciri's recent disappearance, so she might get off on the wrong foot with certain people (although this is also an opportunity to deepen existing CR while she's more stresso depresso and therefore vulnerable to feels and sentimentality about the possibility of others leaving). She also might be getting canon updated to the end of Season 3... soonish? Definitely before endgame so she can reach her full MILF potential.

INFO: Clarke was born in space and thrown into post apocalyptic Earth where she soon takes on the the role of being one of the leaders of the delinquents. She is the only one with medical experience and knowledge out of the group once they are on the ground and she tries her hardest to protect and keep her people safe and circumvent wars between the Grounders or any other threat constantly trying to survive with some constant improvising with how to handle the situation at any give time. She can be a bit standoff-ish, way too serious for her own good and most of the time she can come across like a bossy know it all without realizing since she comes across as very authoritative with the confidence to match. Clarke does have some trust, self loathing issues and a huge guilt complex going on but she's loyal and stubborn to a fault while being pretty selfless when it comes to protecting her people and those she considers to be her friends.
REGRET: Leaving camp after Mount Weather.
CR WISHLIST: Anything, just give me all the cr! I've listed a few more general things below which this list is definitely not limited to that at all.
→ Friendships (aka please help her stop being a loner)! She needs more people to bully her into just lightening up enough to relax, having fun and being social! People she might end up butting heads with due to differing opinions. People she can look up to or get protective over and aggressively adopt or vice versa because she is so not used to that since she's the type to worry more about other people over herself and being a self sacrificial idiot tbh. She is basically the Mom Friend, okay.
→ People who can make her laugh/smile more or give her more stuff things to nerd out like anything sports related or even just bond with over artsy and/or medical things. For the latter she is helping in the infirmary a lot and can be seen around drawing or painting pretty regularly because that is totally a healthy coping mechanism to avoid talking about feelings, etc.
→ People to spar/train with because she needs more practice so she can hold her own better in a fight.
→ People versed in magic, supernatural abilities, or powers in general for more exposure to that sort of thing since she has never encountered that before.
→ People with similar canon experiences from living that post apocalyptic lifestyle to pretty much anyone who has dealt with wars, being from Space/living on a space station, people with experience with leadership positions or people who have experiences making some morally grey life choices could be interesting because those are things she can relate to in some ways (and also feels a hell of a lot of guilt over too because her canon sucks).
→ People to teach her about modern Earth things (fashion, food, tech, pop culture idk whatever else) because coming from a post apocalyptic life there's still probably a lot that is new for her and goes over her head. She might be well read about Earth things but lbr it might not be accurate across worlds, there are still things that are very new to her in a lot of ways!

I'm looking to build up and deepen her cr with people in general and have her open up to people and get over her trust/self loathing issues over time so I'm open to pretty much everything else for new or existing cr so come at me!!

RECAP: Clarke has been in game since the beginning and has been leaning into more of a supportive role during the missions because with her canon point making her a bit uncertain of herself and just knowing how she can contribute and be useful outside using her medical skills to patch people up. She's still suspicious of how legit any of this is supposed to be, especially with how these missions have been going, so she's very conflicted with how this might be too good to be true. Overall, she's still been doing her part and trying her best to help with the missions in whatever way she can, but after some of the past missions and the number of close calls she has had, it's made her have a higher interest in wanting to start training how to better defend herself. She doesn't advertise this too much but she is available for teaching people basic first aid and/or basic survival skills (more so for the kind you would need in a post apocalyptic world) so if people have any interest in that, she is more than happy to mentor people with that sort of thing!

GAME PLANS: Coming in hot during flu season and he'll be wary of all the sick people. Please don't turn into killer mushrooms. Broadly speaking, I want Joel to learn to care about people he doesn't see as surrogate daughters. It's gonna be an uphill battle.
CR WISHLIST: Everything, anything. CR with Joel often starts off negative but he isn't always an asshole. We can definitely figure something out if negative CR doesn't sound appealing. Characters he can teach his various dad skills to could be fun. He was toying with giving a survival skills class before, maybe that will come up again. I also would love some friends with benefits type CR where he gets to pretend it's all physical and resist getting emotionally close to anyone. I'd love for him to open up and share his history with others but reaching that point with anyone will be a Journey.

INFO: Weird doctorate-toting nerd gets hit with pastry, becomes weird multiversal threat to existence who has the most massive hate-on for Spider-Man (the teenage boy one) and fifty million miles of existential horror/angst simmering in the background at literally all times. Still pretty goofy and fun at this point, always awkward, but getting cockier and more comfortable with that whole I'LL GET YOU, SPIDER-MAN supervillain routine. And blowing things up. Also may or may not be genuinely homicidal! That's neat.

REGRET: BEING WEIRD no but the collider accident!

GAME PLANS: MAN it's up in the air atm, Spot's big motivator in canon was becoming enough of a threat that people wouldn't laugh at/humiliate him and also fuckin up Miles' entire existence, but the latter isn't an issue here and the former depends on how people treat him! He could very well chill tf out and be nice if folks are cool, or if things play out the way they did back home, he could very well end up obsessed with ~fixing himself~ to the point of being willing to do, hurt, or even kill pretty much anyone or anything in his way. Or want to get even more powerful! Sky's the limit atm.

CR WISHLIST: FRIENDS..... or people who just shit on him tbh, I'm good either way. I kind of want him to get some buddies who think he's smart/cool or take him seriously though so he's not just like, full tilt nutso from the get-go. He's good at building stuff (dude was a quantum physicist and is still p handy with building shit he should not be able to put together in his dumpy apartment) so science-y types to nerd out with/at would be great! This also includes people who just want to straight up use him for his powers because hey, he's still kind of lowkey desperate for respect/approval and wouldn't mind helping a bud break into some stuff.

Also someone to be like "dude are you okay" would be cool but he's going to get Emotional about it so like, fair warning (no, he is not okay)

RECAP: andy has been in the game since the second mission! she is completely unaware of just how long she's been around, because time is meaningless for her and she has a shitty memory (it's been two years). she arrived pretty gung ho for her regret and careless towards the other orbers, but in her time aboard has learned the goodness of humanity again and would die for like 90% of the people on board (she'll come back it's nbd). while she's still in the camp of wanting to undo her regret unlike some other old timers, it doesn't come with an all or nothing pov anymore, and she's not ignoring how terrible the orbs can be - but in a lot of ways quỳnh still comes first, despite compromises she's made. it's a fun line!

she was struggling with compassion fatigue for a few missions, and in some ways still is, suffering feelings of not wanting her body to be a shield vs actually wanting to save the people she cares about (and in the last mission, becoming attached to one of the npcs). she's had a lot of growth in her time on ximilia, becoming much more open about her age and immortality as well as a higher level of amicability towards people than her canon point!

she doesn't want to be violence incarnate but don't worry she's still down for murder. two wolves inside her etc.

INFO: nikolai is a golden sunshine boy infected by literal darkness (thank you darkling). he is host to a shadow monster that hijacks his body when he sleeps. while he's the monster he grows teeth, claws, his eyes turn pitch black, and he EATS PEOPLE. nikolai has an endless amount of trauma attached to this, pls do not @ him. other than that, nikolai is generally a lying liar who lies, extremely ambitious, highly devoted to his country and his people, a mad genius, and allergic to taking anything seriously. he is genuinely a good person, but good luck figuring out what his moral compass looks like.
REGRET: being captured by the darkling and forcibly infected by his nichevo'ya, transforming him into one of his shadow monsters.
CR WISHLIST: anyone who will put up with his unbearable bullshit. people who will beat his ass when he needs it. his monster is strong af and has taken down planes in his canon, pls do not worry about killing him. also anyone who will enjoy a FANCY drink with him, he is the people's king but he still has a taste for luxury.
RECAP: nikolai honestly has just been a walking trauma case. he has an anklet on the ship that keeps him from transforming, but it doesn't necessarily work off-ship, so on the first mission he hulked out and did violence until fitz nearly killed him, and on the second mission he just didn't sleep. fun times for all.

INFO: Kanan is a former Jedi who was a child when Order 66 happened and the Jedi were wiped out as a major force in the galaxy. He's now living in hiding and is in his flop depressed manwhore era. A lot of snark but a lot of heart, there's still a core of goodness in him that he can't suppress even when he tries. Very tactical and analytical in theory, a bit more reckless in execution.
REGRET: Not saving his Jedi Master from being killed by the clones.

GAME PLANS: My hope is that in the six months to run a sort of parallel arc to what Kanan goes through in Rebels. It'll start with him embracing being a Jedi again, hopefully by the end of month 2, and work toward him realizing he doesn't have to feel guilty for his Master's sacrifice to save his life. I may make him go blind like he does in canon too, but we'll see.

CR WISHLIST: I'm really here for anything, let's speedrun CR for real. He does well with people who can push him into being an overall better person, those motivated by altruism at heart and trying to make life better for others. If you're a soldier or a former one, then listen to him talk about how much he hates war because he's still very much traumatized from his time as a child in combat! Kanan is not always the easiest person to get along with, because he is really annoying sometimes, but I think he can bounce off a lot of people.

i don't know why anyone would want to be his friend so let's say people who tolerate him, someone to go 'wow you have a lot of red flags', fellow war veterans, fellow murder enthusiasts, people to nerd over mechanics with, i am open to any and all cr.

also if your character is friends with obi-wan ben they can meet him and wonder how anakin turned out the way he did when obi-wan ben is like that. although if anakin picks up the slightest hint that anyone thinks obi-wan ben was anything but the perfect dad/bro/teacher he's starting a fight.

INFO: Eternal, infuriating man who wants to rule the world (with Alina), from fantasy-Russia. Aleksander controls shadows / darkness, is very, very old and made mistakes in his life (but not the ones you'd think!) INFO.


REGRET: 500 years ago (give or take), he was being hunted by the king's soldiers. He went home to his wife, and led the soldiers there without realizing it. They murdered her in front of him and in his grief, terror and hubris, he made The Shadow Fold. A huge wall of shadows, populated with monsters (formerly known as farmers and soldiers) that cuts across Ravka.

CR WISHLIST: Unhelpful, but give me all of it! Friends, lovers, enemies! While Aleks is the villain of his canon, he does have some valid points (buried under piles of bullshit) and he's not outwardly villainous. He is kind, occasionally pleasant and nice enough to be around. He can cook, he cleans up after himself and rarely ever mentions murder.

RECAP: Aleksander has been here since day one, and he has come a LONG way. The biggest step was thinking of himself as 'Aleksander' as opposed to 'The Darkling' or whatever name he came up with for the mission (honorable shout-out to the mission where he was known as Gleb for a couple of months).

He is slowly learning that wanting isn't always a weakness, but he doesn't like it.
