The time has come for the team to decide how they wish to proceed through the conclusion of the mission. Before we get into planning, here is a quick recap of what has been discovered and shared:
• The legendary Cubit dubbed Ankhaos by Professor Cress is likely located somewhere around Tarrytown, believed to be much larger than any other known Cubit and surrounded by spectral star-like energy.
• A note in Koga Birch's apartment appears to indicate a connection between a fallen shooting star in Doubleleaf Glen and Yasuo Fern and his Bulbkip, Bubbles.
• The "RMC" in the note is most likely referring to R.M. Chamise, who appears to be Team Torpedo's lead scientist, who is studying and experimenting on rare and unique Cubits.
• One of such Cubits is kept locked away in a Cubitile and guarded separately. Whatever is in there doesn't seem to be from Ankata, and misses their home, family, and friends.
• Team Torpedo appear to be after Bubbles specifically. At least a dozen members and their Cubits, Koga Birch himself, and a massive, never-before-seen Cubit (currently being controlled by R.M. Chamise) are all chasing Bubbles down. Yasuo is also running after him.

The team needs to vote on the two things, and each character gets one vote to either suggest a solution or +1 one suggestion of their choice.
For the vote, your character has to decide on:
1 What to do about the orb
2 What to do about Team Torpedo
Please write your suggestions as comments under the right heading, or +1 other characters' suggestions by responding to their comment. Remember you can only make suggestions on what your character is doing; if your comment includes the actions of other characters, they must confirm their participation with a comment. The more detail you can offer, the better.
If your character would ICly add something to a suggestion (offer magic, stealth, protection over someone or something, etc.) please detail this in your comment as well as it will help colour the conclusion.
The vote is open until July 30, 6PM GMT, after which the mods will count the votes and write the conclusion based on your characters' actions. You only have one vote per question, but if you end up wanting to vote for something else or edit your vote, you can do so until the voting closes.
Note that the vote doesn’t mean that only one option will be chosen — depending on how it goes, the conclusion may feature elements from the highest-voted options. The mods may also ask follow-up questions for some courses of action.
And finally, the conclusion will go up on August 1, when characters will return to the station.

So...who's guarding the castle?
Anyway McCoy's thinking that some of those orbers still scattered across Ankata & not within easy distance of Doubleleaf Glen could instead regroup and do a bit of damage to TT's laboratory horror show.

He also found several objects while digging on the beach and I'd be happy to brainstorm ways we could use them at the lab. They are:
Item 1: should any of Joric's Cubits have this on them during a battle, he'll find their speed and durability has increased significantly.
Item 2: whomever carries this (be they person or Cubit) will feel stress-free and relaxed for an hour. (Might come in handy with a panicking Cubit?)
Item 3: setting this item next to another object of similar or smaller size will turn said object invisible for one hour. (This one sounds really powerful and I hope we can find a use for it.)
Anyway, whether they find any Cubits left behind or not, Joric would be up for destroying equipment and what have you too!

If the code at the lab still needs to be unlocked, Daisy is an expert hacker and would likely be able to figure out the code in order to unlock it.
+1 Chimera Crew (plus a few additional thoughts)
There are loads of Cubits trapped in the lab, suffering inhumane conditions. As part of the wrecking, Jake will absolutely want to prioritize freeing them. Perhaps by sending them through the same portal Dr. Strange creates to get them there, if anyone wants to volunteer taking care of that process from both sides of the portal!
Once inside the lab, there are two doors:
Door 1: Likely entry to the rest of the facility, though Jake doesn't know for sure. There is a keypad that can unlock the door by inputting some combination of the numbers 3, 8, 7, 9. Any tech types who know how to crack a code quickly? Jake tried brute forcing it and it did Not work). Three incorrect attempts will lock the keypad for an hour, so they gotta think it through!
Door 2: This is the door that leads to the two guards protecting the Cubitle in stasis. As long as they're going full Greenpeace, Jake very much wants to free that one too. It's not beyond the realm of possibility that these guards will still be at their posts, and will probably need to be dealt with. The chaos of destroying the lab and freeing a bunch of Cubits might be enough to drive them out to check on the ruckus, so a few fighting types on the team would probably be good. Remember, these guys have guns!
Speaking of fighting types, if anyone wants to pretend to be a Cubit Chimera and go ham with their special powers as they wreck the lab, Jake is quite invested in delivering some promised payback okay

He'll also stick around once the cubits are freed to offer full magic cubit chimera style support for additional aspects of the plan. It's looking like fighting is covered so unless he happens to run into Team Torpedo members accidentally he'll lean into the property damage side of things, with an especial focus on weaponry, other tools of the cubit-thieving trade and then joining in with the folks wrecking nasty lab stuff if aforementioned stuff isn't already plenty wrecked. Time to bust things with magic.

She isn't a hacker, but she's fairly smart with studying patterns and puzzles that she could also work with Chishiya at working out probabilities with the door lock combinations to try figuring it out without getting locked out.

she supports freeing the cubits and also lab vandalism. she can probably help carry some cubits out/to wherever they're getting rescued too if need be.
she just loves animals, ok. and the satisfaction of smashing glass with her axe.

he can help tinker with the door if needed but ultimately, he'd focus on trying to get the cubits out. if that means calming them down with the force? well, he needs some practice for that after!
maybe he'll pretend to be a cubit chimera for a bit too and, uh, wreck some shit by crushing it with the force along the way too. ye.

he's got a fighting type cubit, a shellchan, that he can give an amulet he won from the tournament that protects the wearer from two rounds of damage. so he'll focus on having that guy on protection duty!

invisibility: When worn, will turn the user invisible for 30 minutes. Does not hide heat signature, spiritual energy, or any other sixth sense. (for anyone who wants one)
lock picking: Can crack physical locks. One time use. (for anyone who wants one)
extinguish all light: Turns all lights off. (for anyone who wants one)
He will also be able to snag or tussle with a random team torpedo member and get a hair from them to use Disguise (When worn, this talisman changes the features of a user into those of a specific person. This requires the blood or hair of the intended target and lasts for 30 minutes) and use this to help get them in.
Lastly, he will be using the ability to speak with ghost types to both recruit ghost cubits willing to go in and help them break other cubits out, and to inform the (ghost type) cubits they're breaking out of what they're doing and solicit their help
