quest rewards
At the completion of a quest, Levi will instruct the helpful helpers to swim to a new location on the other side of the city. There, a funky little fella will greet you as the strangers you are. What's his name, you ask? Don't worry about such silly little things! What do you mean he looks familiar? Nonsense, there hasn't been another mug this handsome since he last looked in a mirror.
Let's not get caught up in the details — what's important here is you completed your quest, which means you're here for your reward!
Look closely now, look closely. You won't find anything like these treasures for miles and miles around!
1 — ( 🜄 ) a surface treasure; a glass bauble housed in dense metal, its eerie green glow is unlike anything found beneath the water and doesn’t ever seem to turn off
2 — ( 🜄 ) a rare, crystallized flower picked from the deepest parts of the ocean where temperatures drop below what is survivable for xrisora and most of the local fauna
3 — ( 🜄 ) pendant carved of precious stone found along the surface, where ocean water filters into tide pools only the bravest and heartiest of xrisora have been able to reach
4 — ( 🜄 ) sword of an ancient civilization long lost to the currents; its blade was forged with the sturdy shell of a Boulder Bison and laced with its immobility slime that somehow has yet to wear out
5 — ( 🜄 ) a pair of daggers carved from the shell of a Titan Crab before (?) it was ruled illegal to poach them for their shells
6 — ( 🜄 ) a surface treasure; no idea what it’s used for but it’s nice to look at though and makes for a decent kelp-weight
7 — ( 🜄 ) necklace made of a heating crystal found deep under the ocean floor; it fills its wearer with a subtle warmth that doesn’t fade
8 — ( 🜄 ) fashionable and functional, the tip houses a compartment that can be filled with poisons or serums
9 — ( 🜄 ) a diadem with a jewel of unparalleled shine, once belonging to a sea witch infamous for enthralling over 7000 paramours
10 — ( 🜄 ) another surface treasure, another mystery. great for poking!
11 — ( 🜄 ) a hook carved of slate found only in the deepest parts of the sea, it is said a previous king from a neighboring kingdom once tried to use it to drag their surface-kin back down to the very waters they’ve rejected
12 — ( 🜄 ) a ring so small it can only be worn on a chain for most; its main draw is the fossilized flower long since extinct, which seems to change colors depending on how close it is to heat
13 — ( 🜄 ) the gruesome war trophy of an adventurer long past, this meter-long claw retains shallow carvings of pictographs depicting the adventurer’s many battles
14 — ( 🜄 ) the underdeveloped larva of a sea dragonling, which only happens once in a trillion births, this grotesque lifeform (?) can burrow deep into the flesh of any creature regardless of armor and rot it from the inside-out; one time use only; curiously, it doesn’t ever seem to expire while it remains in its vial
15 — ( 🜄 ) wishbone of an ophon; despite its rarity, this 2 meter bone honestly has no use except maybe for making a really, really cool talk piece at a party; impress your friends!

17 — ( 🜄 ) image carved into a stone slab; legend has it this strange figure is the only known documentation of the Ycxter, the numinous being said to be responsible for consuming the essence of the dying and the dead

The Quest: Majima and Zhao were tasked with retrieving some stolen items from a group of bandits hanging out near the Wickside Forest. The two gangsters found it easiest to simply teach the bastards a lesson with their fists--beating the hoodlums up and leaving them to contemplate changing their wicked ways while left writhing on the ocean floor. Majima and Zhao make out with the stolen goods and bring them back to the appropriate people in town, and despite that good deed being a reward all in itself, return to Levi for their quest reward. Oh, and, they assure Levi they did not use his name whatsoever while out there.
