Piggy-backing off the prior question, what about cases where the character has no conscious control over their powers at all? In Ade's case, his most "power-like" abilities are accelerated healing and spontaneous mutation: the first will occur whenever he is hurt or sick, regardless of the severity, while the second will occur when his life is threatened or just completely randomly. Given that these powers occur automatically/randomly, what constitutes a conscious and deliberate use of them? Or, given their automatic nature, should I just assume they get suppressed quite early on?

Also, am I correct in assuming that the passive biological changes to Ade's physiology (enhanced sense of smell, ability to see ultraviolet light, ability to speak in a wess'har voice) don't count as powers?
