The desire to still find a way, the depression trying to tell him it's impossible, all of it. But somehow, as usual, thinking about this in terms of someone else makes Finn feel so much more hopeful. He wants to help, and he can't accept that it's all lost when it comes to Yzak and Blue. It can't be.

But right now isn't the time for that discussion, he thinks. If he can come to Yzak with answers, then maybe- Maybe. It's all something to think on later.
