T'Challa / Star-Lord | Marvel's What If...?

I. Arrival
[It has become a rather strangely familiar sensation to find himself in a place he does not recognize. After the Watcher's interventions to protect their universe, he should not be surprised that someone else might also seek to coerce their cooperation for their own means. Thus he settles himself sitting with casual caution on the bed he awoke on, waiting for whoever his roommate may be to also awaken.

As if he hadn't already checked you over in your sleep, looking for any weapon, useful tools, or sign of danger. No, he looks as if he has been waiting patiently this entire time. He avoided touching, but he does have a very discerning eye should they have anything he would take note of.]

Greetings, friend. Or perhaps I should say I hope we can become so, for I have little knowledge of where we are and may be in need one.

[Giving honesty over lies does often work best in his favor in convincing others to do what he wants.]

II. RECON AND FRIEND-MAKING
[He takes his time as he travels the station. He wants to familiarize himself with every room and its use, and will be making what friends he can while he does so.]

Hm...a rather large station for the number of inhabitants.

[Are you in the armory building weapons? Have you stopped in the kitchen to procure something to eat? Or maybe you're in the often busy lab working with potentially dangerous compounds? Wherever you may be, T'Challa will find his way there, eventually. He is never one to avoid gaining a full scope of his surroundings and if he is to be stuck on this station for an indefinite period of time, he will learn every minute space in it that he can. With respect the boundaries of private living and working spaces, of course.

(Unless he just so happens to be picking locks--merely for practice of course--and one of those locks happens to lead into your personal office in which it was purely on accident and not him being too inquisitive for his own good. Surely not.]

III. SIMULATED CLUB HOPPING
[The simulation room is fascinating, detailed, and to the point T'Challa is rather impressed. Advanced technology is of course familiar to him, but this feels even more so. How very immerse. A good test of his skills before what missions will come later.

He accepts the drink from the bartender, listening to his instructions. A risk certainly, to drink something without knowing the content or effects, but perhaps the leap of faith is part of the test. He could reject it and leave the simulation...but then he wouldn't be a Ravager, would he? And so he takes a careful sip, for flavor, before tilting the drink back and finishing it quickly. It certainly does leave a aftertaste as it goes down, but not an unwelcome one.

His nose twitches. The sounds around him become stronger, louder. Almost too loud for a moment. He reaches up a hand to touch one...only to find his ear is gone and long hare ears that flop down his head and back.]

Ah...so we are expected to blend in then. Very well.

[He is not sure how this transformation assists in that, but he will accept it for what it is an try to make use of it. So he proceeds to mingle. He gets another, non-transformation-inducing drink and holds it as he walks to room, looking to who he may speak to. The fact he has ridiculously long ears means nothing, he will not even comment on it unless someone else does. His focus is on finding the orb and connecting with other teammates also taking part in the simulation.

His own personal "task" of creating a scene will be executed at just the right moment.]
