( lara jean doesn't remember falling sleep but from waking up and learning she is absolutely not in her bed sends a wave of panic through her. everything is else is completely unfamiliar and it leaves an unsettling feeling in her stomach.

she has had her share of dreams that tend to feel a little too real when she's caught up in fantasy of it all but this? it isn't like her usual dreams either. she has regrets just like anyone else but being able to undo them? there is no way that was real. it seemed more like wishful thinking more than anything, kind of like how she is hoping that she'll wake up any minute from now to hear the sound of her dad calling for her or her sister barging into her room. she is unfortunately met with complete silence though as she pushes herself up to sit more comfortably on the bed, her mind is already buzzing with a million thoughts.

if you're lucky person who happens to be her roommate, it is not something she has noticed yet as she starts babbling to herself in the form of a mantra. is it denial? or does she really believe that she can will herself to wake up? who really knows but for a good few minutes her words are on repeat as she tries not to freak out ) No— this is so not happening. This isn't real. I'm totally dreaming. Come on— wake up already ! ( a deep breath, following by a sound of frustration as she tries to pinch herself )

( it is much later but after a while, lara jean can no longer deny the reality of her new situation. being in space with a group of complete strangers for the same purpose of working towards undoing regrets that they respectively had.

it all seemed like such an impossibility but here she was with every fiber of her being hoping that there was an ounce of truth it because it would save her the headache of having to everything she is going through right now. she knows she isn't alone but it feels like it from knowing no one here and it makes her miss her sisters even more. she tries to put on a brave face though as she wanders through the ship to get familiar with everything and soon enough she finds herself entering the sunlight room.

it feels like stepping into one of her romantic fantasies. okay well not quite but it does fall under some winter cliche though of meeting her one true love as she takes a stroll in the park or something along those lines. she is completely aware of how silly that is and how some people would tell her as much but for a brief moment it lets her escape from her worries ) Wow.

This is amazing, right? ( she can't help but stare in awe because while she knows it just an illusion caused by the room itself, it is remarkably real ) I was expecting it to be a little less chilly though given the name of this room.

( it would be an understatement that it has been a challenge for lara jean to get used to life on the station and needless to say it was a little daunting hearing about these missions they would be going on to retrieve the orb so she approaches the simulation room to get some practice in for whatever they are going to be thrown into.

she has never been to a club before much less a bar especially since wasn't even old enough for it. it really isn't her scene either so this already isn't going as she planned especially if it was a requirement to go further and that wasn't even touching on the potential side effects that seemed to be hinted at.

her hesitation is immediate as she looks at the bartender almost like a deer in the headlights. it's only a simulation but is this even legal? would it count as breaking the law and haunt her for the rest of her life? she takes a deep breath once more and if she happens to notice anyone nearby she'll eventually speak up to catch their attention, trying to not let her nerves get the best of her ) Um. Hey— is drinking strange liquids like this before starting a mission considered normal?
