HELEN

HELEN

RACE: Half-elf
● BONUS: Resistant to magic that manipulates the mind.

CLASS: Bard
● BONUS: Especially persuasive during negotiations, keen awareness of her surroundings.

ALIGNMENT: True Neutral

CANTRIPS:
MESSAGE ☀ Points toward a target and whispers a message to send to them. Can cast through a barrier if she knows the target is there. Has the possibility of "mistranslating" her message. Cannot go further than 2ft.

MINOR ILLUSION ☀ Can create a sound or image and project it up to 5ft and can last up to 1 minute. Images cannot be larger than 4ft tall and wide. Physical interaction with the illusion reveals it to be as such.

SHOCKING GRASP ☀ Lightning springs forth from her fingers to hit her target. Will always hit if target is wearing metal, but can miss if they are wearing cloth or leather armor. Can only travel 5ft.

SPELLS:
CHARM ☀ Attempts to charm a humanoid within 20ft of her. If it works, they will regard her as a friendly acquaintance and can fight alongside her. However, once the charm is broken, it will know it was charmed and has a 50/50 chance of turning on her.

SLEEP ☀ She will be able to choose up to two targets to attempt to put to sleep that are within 25ft of you. They will be asleep for upwards of ten minutes before gradually waking up. This has a chance to fail.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
History: Half-elf sister of Lúthien. Originating from a woodland kingdom outside Alydhion’s borders, the sisters set out together to locate Helen’s human half-brothers. Unfortunately, they found only graves, the twins having died years before.

Appearance: Strong physical resemblance to elves. Stunning to look upon, but closer to normal levels of beauty now that her quasi-divine nature is under magical wraps.

General Plans: Helen will be hosting funeral games in remembrance of her brothers, whom she has only recently learned died shortly before the war began ten years ago. Think of them as a proto-Olympic Games (because that is what they were) with plenty of food and drink for those who do not want to participate in the athletic competitions—and for those who did and are either celebrating their wins or taking the sting out of their losses. Available to assist with others' personal goals.
