Personal task: SABOTAGE, Cause a scene, which Flynn is going to hate but that will be very fun to try and accomplish. He will need help for this and will probably end up recruiting people to help him cause chaos in a controlled way, so if you want to be recruited for that, hit me up!
Plans for the mission: This city's going to remind Flynn pretty fiercely of home, and he'll fall right into wanting to help keep it safe and secure from the threat of monsters. He works closely with his own royals & council back home, as the leader of the entire Empire's knights, so he'll immediately try to talk to the city leaders and try to figure out how to stop the problem altogether in addition to recovering the orb. It wouldn't be right to just leave these people in danger as far as Flynn is concerned, so the orb mission will be in his mind but secondary to keeping the city safe. He'll definitely want to talk over what he's learned with folks, and I'd love threads along those lines, trying to figure out why this city is being attacked and how to really stop it long-term!
He'll also talk to some of the displaced & homeless folks in the merchant district to get their take on things.
He'll also want to go hunt down the Ghost Girl and deal with her once he's gathered enough information, whatever that ends up looking like, since she appears to be the cause behind all this—down for some forest-quest threads as well, since Flynn LIVES for fighting and will definitely end up clashing with the monsters directly.
ETC: Flynn's got your standard JRPG Magic Knight stuff going on, so he has both combat artes and minor healing magic that can be useful in a fight. He's a very skilled knight with a lot of fighting experience, but he's also well-practiced in dealing with royals and councils in a crisis about monsters, specifically. Diplomacy, babeyyy, let's solve some problems through strategy!
