Drift has been playing it safe with his identity and can allow for his holoform to be taken to one of the camps to work on the inside while staying close by if he needs to transform because when you're overthrowing fascists rounding people up, and putting them into labor camps — it helps to be a giant robot made of swords.

If Drift's human guise is 'injured' or his collar is activated, his real body will be temporality knocked out, and he'll be disoriented but still a perfectly useable car (hopefully you guys took his driving lessons right? right??)
