Read a lot of the world. Sarah wonders if that isn't like Diana, too. Her niece had tried so hard to avoid who (and what) she was, she'd buried herself in learning facts about other people's history, trying to convince herself it didn't all lead back to the same place. But she's come into her own, and Moiraine seems more sure of herself than Diana ever had before figuring out who she wanted to be.

"Once it's over, most people think it's better to forget, dress it up. Pretty lies are easier to retell than ugly truths. That's why the ugly truths get repeated." Usually over and over. "Our history tells us who we were and who we are, who we can be and who we shouldn't be."
