Being the small town that it is, it isn't as if there's a lot going on that Father Alois wouldn't be happy to perform a ceremony for the engaged couple. Marriage rites for the Sect of the Eight Divines are simple, in line with the religion's overall mission to be as accessible as possible: an ordained priest or priestess will perform the ceremony in which the betrothed couple grasp hands, wherein the officiator will wrap twine around both forearms in the shape of two interlocking circles to symbolize the unending bond both parties are promising. The couple are free to say a few words to each other, but the process becomes complete when the priest or priestess welcomes all Eight Divines to witness the couple's declaration of love and loyalty. It is then sealed with a touch of foreheads.
