spacedisaster: (I appreciate it but...no)

It was fancy, but Peter could assure him it was a well-earned title. At least the Guardians part, his team did save the Galaxy a couple of times in the past. Unlike the Avengers, they tried to stop disasters before they happen, even if they're not always successful. Peter was well aware that he didn't exactly look like a law-abiding citizen, but he never cared too much about it either.

"Sounds like it. We're all stuck here until we retrieve the orbs, anyway. I don't recognize the star system where the station resides. Looking out of the windows doesn't give me much information, and there are no available star maps. Who knows where we really are for sure."

Despite his casual tone, it annoys Peter because it means he can't just find some sort of ship and go back to his team. They really are in a whole different universe.

"Yes, this is a space station and pretty big at that. But it's not like the ships I'm used to seeing in my home world. It never lands on a planet, it teleports us there. The doors of the Northern wing are sealed, so we can't get in there. Lately, we discovered that it's because that's where the Commander, the guy who runs this place, stays and keeps the retrieved orbs stored. They need special seals to contain their power, or so that's what Viveca told me." It might or might not be the truth, and Peter remained skeptical for that reason.
