[ Elthree stands quietly and listens as Megatron explains his people's war. Elthree wasn't around for the Clone Wars, but she knows enough about history to know that galaxy-spanning wars are good for no one. 'Civilizations rose, flourished, and collapsed...' She can't help but think of the Jedi of old. They say the Order had existed in one form or another for thousands of years. And look at them now, gone even from memory. People talk of the Force in whispers, something they hold faith in but don't actually believe is real.

She waits for a good few seconds after Megatron stops speaking before she pipes up. ]

Nothing in my galaxy... No one conflict spans millions of years. We get lots of little wars instead, and the periods in between aren't all that pleasant either, depending on who you are or where you live.

[ The galaxy was "at peace" under the Empire. Except Imperial troops continued to slaughter and subjugate any who would dare resist. And whatever parts of space that the Empire can't reach, are ruled by the crime syndicates. There is so much death. It's inescapable. But even she can't imagine death and war on the scale Megatron is talking about. ]

I think the issue is that no one can agree on what "the greater good" is. Your greater good might not be mine. What benefits Coruscant will harm Kessel. What benefits Kessel will harm Corellia. And so on, to infinity.

[ She looks down, pausing to form her words before looking back up and speaking again. ]

I know what my place in the galaxy is. What work I have to do. And I'll do anything I need to see that it's done.
